BELLEAYRE MOUNTAIN HALL OF FAME DINNER & AWARDS CEREMONY

Highmount, NY. March 16, 2007 - The first annual Belleayre Mountain Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards Ceremony will be held at Belleayre Mountain*s Overlook Lodge on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 7 pm. Five individuals and one outstanding couple have been chosen as the first inductees into the Hall of Fame, and will be presented with an award acknowledging their contributions to the success of Belleayre Mountain.

Portraits of the inductees that will be hung in the Hall of Fame will also be unveiled at the awards ceremony.

The Hall of Fame class of 2007 includes:

Art Draper, the first Superintendent of Belleayre Mountain; Dot Nebel, the first Ski School Director and designer of Belleayre's original ski trails;

Vincent Quinn, the owner of the first ski shop at Belleayre Mountain;

Joe Kelly, the Chairman of the Board of the Belleayre Music Conservatory and founding member of the Coalition to Save Belleayre;

Ralph Combe, Assistant Ski School Director at Belleayre Mountain for decades;

Robert & Valerie Konefal, owners of the Pine Hill Arms and founders of the of the Pine Hill Arms Triathlon and Midweek Race Series.

These honorees are being recognized for their significant contributions to Belleayre Mountain as well as the sport of skiing as a whole. Some of these honorees have spent a lifetime devoted to making Belleayre Mountain as successful as it is today, while others enjoyed great success at Belleayre Mountain and went on to achieve great accolades in the sport of skiing. The Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards Ceremony will be held at Belleayre Mountain's Overlook Lodge on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 7 pm. Popular local band Blues Maneuvers will provide the dance music, and Superintendent Tony Lanza will be Master of Ceremonies. The event is mountain formal, and the cost to attend is $75 per person, which includes a gourmet dinner and open bar.
